Volume-based assignment guidelines
If outpatient subspecialty (Neuro, MSK, Body) lists are less than 200, assign General Outpatient and standard subspecialty assignments as below. However, if the specific list exeeds 200 cases, then modify the subspecialty assignments as follows:
If Neuro list is greater than 200, do not assign General studies and increase Neuro by 6 (to total of 34).
If Body list is greater than 200, do not assign General studies and increase Body by 3 (to total of 10).
If MSK list is greater than 200, do not assign General studies and increase MSK by 4 (to total of 22).
